Toto is the company that makes the extravagant Japanese toilets referred to as Washlets. These toilets come with a heated seat, a bidet, and deodorizer, among other things.

Before To the formation of Toto the group, its members performed session work for Steely Dan, [3] Seals and Crofts,[4] Boz Scaggs, and Sonny and Cher. [5] Guitarist Steve Lukather is the band's vocalist.

About Toto

The band Toto was formed in the year 1976 by guitarists Jeff Porcaro and David Paich (who were also acclaimed studio musicians with Boz Scaggs at the time) and bassist/singer Bobby Kimball. Taking their name from the Latin word that means "all inclusive," the group was determined to explore every style of music.

In 1981 Toto's third album Turn Back was a flop, but they rebound with their fourth album Isolation with two hits, including the title track and Roseanna. The album and tour made them a household name around the globe.

After a brief hiatus, Toto returns with the album Fahrenheit. It marks a step away from the ballads that were featured on previous albums and includes some heavy rock. This was their first platinum album in North America.

During the recording process for the fifth album, the group loses its manager and faces financial difficulties. They decide to record a brand new album and change their name with an entirely different producer. The lead singer Fergie Frederiksen leaves the band and is replaced by Joseph Williams, son of the legendary film composer John Williams and 1950s actress Barbara Ruick. Joseph Williams is a natural frontman and gives the band a much-needed boost.

The band released Mindfields in 1999, and then embarks on a huge tour around the world. After several weeks in Europe, the band heads to Japan for sold-out shows. After a short hiatus, Toto resumes their recording and release their first live album entitled Absolutely Live in 1993. This includes a cover version of Weezer’s song Hash Pipe as a response to the band's performance in Africa during their recent tour. Toto's touring band is rounded out by drummer Lenny Castro, bassist Shannon Forrest and keyboardist Shem von Schroeck.

Music

Toto is an American rock group that achieved their greatest success in the eighties. Founded by seasoned session musicians, the band has sold over 40 million albums across the globe.

The first toto album was the self-titled Toto, released in 1978. The album was a huge hit and catapulted toto into international fame. Since then, the band has released fourteen albums that have also been a hit.

Toto composed their first and sole film score in 1984 for the film Dune. It was a massive project and the entire group was required to participate. Kingdom of Desire was another successful album. After a world tour, drummer Bobby Kimball left the band and was replaced by drummer Fergie Frederiksen from Le Roux. The band continued to release their fifth studio album, Isolation. The album featured a number of songs that were hits, including "Stranger in Town".

After Isolation Toto was put on a absence. This gave every member of the group the chance to pursue their own solo projects. In 1996, the group was reformed to tour and make an album. It was the first time in over a decade that all of the original members were on stage.

The next year, Toto toured with Ringo Starr's All Starr Band. This was the final time that the original members of Toto were performing together. After that, the group was again disbanded. However, Toto reunited in 2010 to perform a benefit show for the ALS Foundation. It was the first time in over 31 years that all of Toto's original members performed together. The original group was joined by keyboardist Greg Tambu who filled in for Paich, and bassist David Hungate who filled in for Shem von Schroeck.

Tours

Toto has remained one of the most popular rock bands for over three decades, releasing megahits such as "Rosanna," "Hold The Line," and their 8X-platinum smash, "Africa." The group's anthemic, arena-rock style is inspired by a variety of styles, including progressive rock, world rhythms, jazz, and soul.

The band suffered several setbacks during their later years, despite their popularity. In 2002 the keyboardist David Paich and drummer Greg Phillinganes took a medical leave of absence. Drummer Shem von Schroeck took over and the band was not the same without Paich and Phillinganes. In 2008, Toto decided to take a break from touring after changes to the lineup and a series of disappointing releases. But,  토토사이트 순위  recommenced touring in 2012 with the release of their album, 40 Trips Around the Sun.

The album was a return form for the group and the tour supported it with sold-out shows in North America and Europe. The reunion of Toto gathered momentum after the return of bassist Shem Von Schroeck and guitarist Steve Lukather.

Toto's music remains the same today as it was in the 70s and 80s, gaining new fans with each new generation. Their success has made them a long-lasting part of pop culture, and their live performances are always packed with energy and excitement.
